Unlike most imported MSM, HorseTech's OptiMSM® is made with a unique distillation process where contaminants are "distilled" away from the final product. You'll note that the distilled product is a fine white powder, whereas the cheaper, evaporated product will generally be a larger, less consistent "flake" material. Further, each and every batch of OptiMSM® is tested right here in the U.S. for heavy metal contaminants AND microbiological contaminants. This is an important part of the quality assurance program! Directions for Use
Administer orally to mature horses weighing 1000 lbs+ at the rate of 10 grams (one rounded 11cc scoop) per day or as directed by your local, attending veterinarian. Each 11cc scoop will provide approximately 9.95 grams (9,950 mg) of methylsulfonylmethane (MSM).
Adjust dosage rate proportionately (based on weight) for heavier or lighter breeds. Not recommended for use during gestation or lactation. Consult local attending veterinarian prior to use.
