In research conducted at the University of California Davis, a combination of magnesium citrate and boron citrate appeared to offer promising support for trigeminal-mediated headshaking. The research was presented to the AAEP in December 2018.

HorseTech's Shakin' Paste offers an easy way for you to provide 1,000 mg of boron (from boron citrate) and 2,000 mg of magnesium (from magnesium citrate). Shakin' Paste is a powder that, when mixed with warm water, forms an easy to use paste. In just a couple of minutes, you can prepare the paste for administration.

HorseTech offers a syringe kit for easy mixing and presentation. The kit includes two (2) reusable syringes and a handy silicone funnel for adding ingredients into the syringe for mixing. Mix your Shakin' Paste right inside the syringe barrel.

Directions for Use

Provide to horses at the rate of 35 grams per day. For best results prepare a paste and administer orally. The enclosed 14.7 ml scoop will hold approximately 17.5 grams when filled to level.

Mix two (2) level 14.7 ml scoops of Shakin' Paste powder with two (2) level 5 ml scoops of warm water to form a paste. Administer the paste orally using a dosing syringe.
